Welcome to the wonderful World of TRUNKBALL! This is a sport that makes use of the increasingly obsolete automobile, particularly large, gas-guzzling models, and puts them to work in a more benign and fun way. It is a "half-court" goal scoring game vaguely and distantly reminiscent of team handball (w/o the team).
At this point in the sport's illustrious history (ca. 2007), there is no official insignia, only one current league (Thoreau League), and no marketing or commercial connections yet. The sport has been trademarked and registration of the TM is pending.
